Our Butterflies
OUR PASSION AND PRIDE
Ecological Importance
Butterflies are among the most fascinating and important groups of insects in nature. Beyond their beauty, they play a vital role as pollinators and serve as bioindicators of environmental health.
Their presence reflects the balance between native plants, wildlife, and healthy ecosystems
Butterfly Diversity in Puerto Vallarta
The Puerto Vallarta region is home to an extraordinary diversity of Lepidoptera, with approximately 190 recorded butterfly species, making it an area of exceptional biological value.
As part of our commitment to conservation, environmental education, and the responsible management of biodiversity, we operate under:

Conservation and Responsible Management
Currently, we are authorized to manage and breed 41 native butterfly species, contributing to their conservation, research, and public education.
Through our work, we strive to inspire a deeper appreciation for butterflies and raise awareness of the importance of protecting these remarkable insects and the ecosystems they depend on.
