Our Beginning
Founded in 2019, Mariposario Jardín Mágico was born from a simple yet powerful vision: to inspire people to discover, appreciate, and protect the natural world.
What began as the first butterfly sanctuary in the Banderas Bay region has grown into a center dedicated to conservation, environmental education, and the celebration of biodiversity.
Connecting People with Nature
Today, our sanctuary provides a safe habitat for native butterflies and pollinators while promoting the conservation of native plants.
Through immersive experiences, guided tours, and educational programs, we invite visitors of all ages to connect with nature, understand its importance, and become part of its protection
Inspiring Future Generations
Education is at the heart of everything we do.
Through our community outreach programs, we have proudly provided free environmental education to more than 2,000 students, inspiring young people to appreciate biodiversity and understand the importance of protecting our natural ecosystems.
The Butterfly Museum
Our Butterfly Museum offers visitors an opportunity to explore the fascinating world of butterflies, insects, and pollinators.
Through engaging exhibits, natural history displays, and educational experiences, we encourage curiosity, learning, and a deeper appreciation for the incredible diversity of life.
