November 9, 2021It's a bit off the tourist track but well worth it. Fabian was our guide and his passion for the butterflies shows. We came away knowing more and... read more wanting to do more for the butterflies. If you love nature, you will love this.
December 1, 2021I believe our guide was Chris, and he was so knowledgeable which made our tour so much better. We learned so many things none of us knew about butterflies... read more and know that it was because of his knowledge that we were able to learn these facts. I highly recommend the tour, however, as we learned going a little later in the morning when the butterflies are active would have been even better.

This excursion was something 3 people in my party participated in. It was NOT wheelchair friendly at all and we had to take a taxi which ended up costing more... read more than the actual exhibit because it was far away from our hotel on the Malacon and the taxi driver had to wait for us an hour to give us a ride back or we would have been stuck out in the middle of the jungle. It was fun and thankfully I had a few big guys who made this experience possible for me in a manual wheelchair but I would not recommend it for anyone with mobility issues. The tour guide was awesome and the releasing of the butterflies at the end was really cool. Then I had to pee and that was a whole new problem trying to get to the bathrooms that were far away and not accessible at all. I should have done a lot more research on the accessibility but I just wanted to experience the pretty butterflies!
February 1, 2022It’s a ways out there, but with the guide, you get an amazing tour. Very informative. Beautiful butterflies.
