Our collection is maintained under our official SEMARNAT authorization: The preserved specimens are used exclusively for educational and research purposes. Every butterfly displayed in our museum completed its natural life cycle.
These specimens lived naturally within our sanctuary and were preserved
only after their lives had come to an end.
By displaying them with care and respect, we can continue sharing their
beauty while helping visitors better understand butterfly anatomy,
diversity, and natural history.
