Our Network
Working Together for Nature
Conservation grows stronger through collaboration.
At Butterfly Sanctuary Mariposario Jardín Mágico, we believe meaningful environmental impact is achieved by working together. Our network connects us with scientific, conservation, educational, and community organizations that share our commitment to protecting butterflies, pollinators, native plants, and biodiversity.
Through these partnerships, we exchange knowledge, strengthen our conservation practices, expand educational opportunities, and contribute to initiatives that benefit both wildlife and our community.
Entomological Society of America
Advancing Knowledge Through Science
As members of the Entomological Society of America (ESA), we stay connected to current research, scientific knowledge, and best practices in entomology.
This connection helps us continually improve our educational programs, conservation efforts, butterfly care, and exhibits, allowing us to share reliable scientific information with our visitors and community.
International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers
Connecting Butterfly Professionals Around the World
Our membership in the International Association of Butterfly Exhibitors and Suppliers (IABES) connects Mariposario Jardín Mágico with butterfly professionals, educators, exhibitors, and conservation organizations from around the world.
Through this international network, we promote responsible butterfly care, conservation, breeding, education, and public awareness while learning from organizations that share our dedication to protecting these extraordinary species.
We are also proud to have contributed two featured articles to the IABES magazine, highlighting our conservation and environmental education initiatives.

Monarch Waystation
Supporting Monarchs and Native Pollinators
Butterfly Sanctuary Mariposario Jardín Mágico is proud to be recognized by Monarch Watch as an official Monarch Waystation.
Waystation No. 57087
Certified July 22, 2026
Through the cultivation and protection of native host and nectar plants, our sanctuary provides essential food, shelter, and breeding habitat for monarch butterflies and many other native pollinators.
This commitment allows us to support pollinator conservation, strengthen local biodiversity, and contribute to healthier ecosystems throughout Puerto Vallarta and the Banderas Bay region.
Rotary Partnerships
Conservation Through Community Collaboration
With the support of Rotary Clubs in Puerto Vallarta and Calgary Heritage Park, we continue expanding our conservation, environmental education, and community outreach initiatives.
These partnerships help us create greater opportunities for local residents, students, families, and visitors to connect with nature and understand the importance of protecting butterflies, pollinators, and their habitats.
By combining community service with environmental action, we can create lasting benefits for both people and wildlife.
